Day Trips
Day trips include but are not limited to the best-known and most-often-visited attractions of the region:
- the 13th century town of Albi known for its Gothic cathedral and the Toulouse-Lautrec museum
- the medieval abbey of Moissac
- a vineyard and winery near Cahors
- the walled city of Carcassonne
- the picturesque village of Pech-Merle, famous for its prehistoric cave paintings
- the interactive museum of medieval life at Cuzals
- the spectacular St.Cirq Lapopie, called the most beautiful village in France, with its breathtaking mountaintop site.
In addition to day trips students are encouraged to take advantage of free time to explore the sights of Toulouse and participate in swimming, biking, and hiking.
